A Second R Kelly Sex Tape is Going to Prosecutors + He Spent 2 Nights in Jail Because He Can’t Pay Bond

R Kelly’s bail was set at $1 million Saturday meaning he could have been out practically on the spot if he could have come up with $100,000. Shouldn’t be that big of a deal… especially when Jussie Smollett had the same thing to pay and got right out, right? That isn’t the case for R Kelly. His peers are all in the hundreds of millions as far as their net worth is concerned. Kelly on the other hand has been in court quite a bit in life, has allegedly paid millions in settlements, lost $40 million to his wife, recently released a song saying he needed to tour to pay his rent, had his European tour cancelled, has been dropped by his label despite having two future albums he owed them, he hasn’t paid his studio rent of $25,000 a month in 7 months and has a list of city code violations for illegal work he had done there he’s soon to be charged fines for so the fact that he’s borderline broke should surprise no one. It’s why he’s been in jail the last two nights because he can’t pay to get out.

While his friends might not be rushing to loan him some money to get him out or to just do him a favor, there are female fans rushing to help him with his bond. GoFundMe accounts have been popping up across the internet once it became clear he legitimately might not have the money to get out on his own. The only problem is they violate the sites terms of service. Their official rules state that they prohibit “campaigns we deem, in our sole discretion, to be in support of, or for the legal defense of alleged crimes associated with hate, violence, harassment, bullying, discrimination, terrorism, or intolerance of any kind relating to race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, sex, gender or gender identity, or serious disabilities or diseases.” As for the reason he is low on cash these days, his attorney Steve Greenberg said it was due to “mismanagement,” “hangers-on” and “bad deals.” He also said he expects to be able to pull the money together but clarified that Kelly does’t just have it sitting in the bank.

In a new twisted turn of events, Michael Avenatti has turned over a second sex tape of R Kelly to the State Attorney who will then pass it on to prosecutors today. It’s reportedly the same 14 year old girl as in the first tape he turned over. This tape takes place in 2000 as the first was in 1999. It’s said that he’s seen engaging in anal sex, chokes her and turns her face to the camera for a look at her reaction. He’s also repeatedly coaching her sexually throughout various acts for the camera. Avenatti is also supposedly trying to get a third tape now of a girl between 13-16. As for his 10 charges of aggravated sexual assault, he plead not gulty to those charges today.

New details will be provided as they come.
