What would the premier fashion event of the year, the Met Gala be without a little trouble showing up? If we were to predict where the problem would be stemming from, we’d take a wild guess and say the reality tv star known for her public fights, Cardi B aaaaaaand BINGO. At around 2 in the morning outside of where she was staying at the Mark Hotel on Madison Avenue in Manhattan, a fan wanted an autograph, apparently had been told no and from there it all went left. He began complaining that Cardi B wouldn’t give him an autograph when two men jumped from a black SUV and began pummeling him in the street before a third one started stomping him. The victim, 33 year old Giovanni Arnold has since been put in the hospital and is in stable condition.

Arnold’s attorney, Daniel Szalkiewicz described the event as an “unjustified ambush.” Giovanni also stated it was her fiance Offset who ordered the attack. NYPD officer Sgt. Vincent Marchese has confirmed there is an “ongoing investigation” on the matter. We understand Cardi’s pregnant and you don’t want her to be around too much excitement not to mention she likely had on expensive clothing but Cardi… you just got out of the hood. Do you really want this to be your reputation, putting people in the hospital for getting too close to you? Get it together.
