Tyler Perry’s been feeling pretty generous lately. He just gave Cosby Show actor Geoffrey Owens a job after seeing a viral pic of him working in a grocery store. Furthering the example of the black community needing to invest in itself and look after each other, he just bought the mother of actress Lashun Pace a $350,000 house because it was her dying wish to own a home for her family. The amamzing part about this is the fact that it’s been almost 20 years since Tyler Perry worked with Lashun Pace. She was in a play of his in 1999. It isn’t often that people reach back that far to help someone that worked with them.

In a short clip you can hear Lashun’s mother Bettie Pace being surrounded by cheers as she thanked Tyler Perry for the home. “Tyler Perry, thank you son,” she said. “Thank you for the house. God bless you.”

“Now you see what happens when you just live right and become Tyler Perry’s friend,” Lashun said at the end of the video.

We’d also like to remind you all that Tyler Perry also just bought Tiffany Haddish a Tesla this summer. You’re able to do those things when you put your home on the market making it the most expensive listing in your state. Then again the deal he just signed with Viacom lasting til 2024 as soon as his deal with Oprah is up next year is probably putting a little cash in his pocket as well. People dream of working with Oprah but Tyler Perry’s upgrading from Oprah. Someone’s definitely having a good Christmas this year with a lot to be grateful for.
