LISTEN: Toni Braxton Rises from Heartbreak in New Song ‘Deadwood’

Toni Braxton is back! After taking a slight musical hiatus, Toni has returned with a new song called Deadwood.

The song will serve as the official lead single from her upcoming eighth studio album Sex & Cigarettes, which is expected to be released in the Spring of 2018.


Though this will be her first album in 4 years, as a solo act it is her first album since 2010’s Pulse.

Toni teamed up with friend Babyface in 2014 for the release of Love, Marriage & Divorce, which was released through Motown Records. Take a look at what Toni said about her new album below:

“I’m excited to be doing what I love doing. The new album comes out at the top of the year and it’s called Sex & Cigarettes. I feel like I’m older, I want to say what I feel, I don’t want to be censored.”
