So, for those of you who aren’t aware, there is a currently a remake of the classic (and one of my favorites) 90s film Jumanji in the works, which originally starred the late Robin Williams.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will pull double duty as one of the film’s stars, as well as a co-producer, and yesterday (Wednesday May 11) The Rock revealed that Kevin Hart and Jack Black have also been tapped to star in the film:

The film is adapted from the 1981 children’s book of the same name, which was written by Chris Van Allsburg. The 1995 film starred Robin Williams as Alan Parrish, the previous player who was unleashed from the game after being trapped for years.

Despite earning mixed reviews from critics, Jumanji earned $100,475,249 in the United States and Canada and an additional $162,322,000 overseas, bringing the worldwide gross to $262,797,249. Also starring Bonnie Hunt, Kristen Dunst, Bradley Pierce and David Alan Grier, the film’s success inspired the launch of a television series, which ran from 19996 to 1999.
